We are searching for an innovative leader for our sales team in Norway. Your challenge will be to exceed revenue goals, promote a positive culture, and adjust sales tactics to match our company's goals. Kiona aim to become the top player in the property technology market. You will be central in driving sales performance, providing guidance, and ensure good collaboration. Your responsibilities will include managing your team, customer & partner relationships, solving problems, and finding ways to enhance our sales.

The role will report to the CRO - Chief Revenue Officer and be based at Kiona’s headquarters in Trondheim and be a key role for our success.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • develop and implement revenue-driving strategies, creating sustainable value for customers, partners and Kiona.
  • continuously develop and implement the overall commercial strategy with an annual action plan.
  • responsible for further developing the partner sales model in Norway. Identify and secure partners with an optimal fit to our business model. 
  • lead the sales team, including recruitment, training, motivation, and performance evaluation.
  • make sure Kiona is active and engaged in securing frame agreements with the large key customers, supported by our partner strategy.
  • collaborate with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • contribute to ongoing sales, including the preparation of solutions, quotations, and closing of agreements.
  • participate in key client and partner meetings and presentations.
  • define and develop the sales budget annually, with quarterly updates.
  • personnel responsibility for all employees in the Norwegian sales department.

About you

To thrive in this position, you must possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and be a positive spirit with qualities to lead, motivate, inspire, and guide a well-functioning team. You see the value of performing sales yourself as part of the assignment. Furthermore, you are innovative and structured with sound analytical skills. You are committed to building trust, and you are knowledgeable in digitalization, building automation technology and the dynamics of partner sales. You are curious and motivated working with systems that have a major impact in the green shift.

To be successful, you have: 

  • a proactive and result-driven attitude, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • excellent communication and presentation skills in Norwegian and English

You have a background with the following or equivalent:

  • relevant experience and results from similar industries and/or advisory sales and customer interactions driven by SaaS business model.
  • education and experience in refrigeration / electrical / automation / HVAC, or equivalent competence is preferable.
  • domain expertise in energy use and buildings is beneficial.
