Energinet provides a convenient way to import meter data through its REST API. Through the API, you can send meter data directly into the system. We support many third-party software where we collect meter data from their APIs – including data from utility companies or other system suppliers. Energinet is capable of handling meter data from various sources. We consolidate all the data into a single central location, providing a unified perspective and the same look and feel.
Now, we have made sending data to Energinet via API easier than ever by letting users set it up themselves.
You can now create API imports directly in Energinet, just as you could previously create e-mail imports. Generate your API tokens directly in the interface and decide which areas they should be valid for.
You will find the API import in the Settings menu. You need to be a top-level admin user to create an API token.
